Ist Elsenham Brownies was first set up on 1st June 1957. 24 girls started and today we have a full strength pack of 28.

We meet once a week for an hour and a half and in this time we get up to all sorts of activities. Examples of 2001 activities included bowling at Bishop Stortford (twice), behind the scenes tour of Tesco's (most interesting), Christmas songs and teas at Reynolds Court, Newport (sheltered housing), mini olympics, cooking, trip to a garden center and then returning and planting our plants in our trefoil shaped flower bed, making dreamcatchers, and many other exciting things.

Brownies is very popular and with a big waiting list we have another pack on a Wednesday evening.
