Ist Elsenham Brownies was first set up on 1st June 1957. 24 girls started and today we have a full strength pack of 36. We meet once a week for an hour and a half and in this time we get up to all sorts of activities. We follow the
guiding syllabus with lots of craft, working together in groups, discussions
and badge taking. In the past we have gone bowling at Bishop Stortford, had
a behind the scenes tour of Tesco's, had a sleepover on HMS Belfast in
London, attended the annual Thinking Day service at Westminster, taken a
trip on the Cambridge sightseeing bus and gone on the famous punts down the
river, visited Woburn Safari Park. Brownies is very popular and we do have a big waiting list. Girls are aged 7 -10/11. If you would like to put your daughter on the waiting list please contact myself, Jennifer Jarvis on 01279 814434 or alternatively e-mail me on pajemiki@tiscali.co.uk Jennifer Jarvis |
